Technology in Schools
The Turn the Tide Coalition encourages schools across Maine to find non-technical solutions to the educational, and non-educational challenges faced by our kids.
The issue goes beyond access to harmful, dangerous or age-inappropriate content—or even general distraction during school hours. We need to decrease our reliance on iPads and laptops across the board during the school day.
We need a different set of skills and tools to turn the tide—not more time on laptops and iPads.
